I have an original Kindle Fire, with FireFireFire installed (the one with blue text), and TWRP. However, there is no OS installed so I obviously cannot use the Kindle Fire. I have Android ADB drivers installed, so ‘adb devices’ shows my device (in recovery mode when I’m running TWRP). Whenever I try to flash either Cyanogenmod or the stock OS, I get the error: "error executing update binary in zip". I think this is because I might not have root permission. When I try to install root permission with KFU, I get stuck on "Waiting for fastboot 4002", even though KFU says my device is already in 4002! Does this mean I’m stuck in fastboot? I don’t have a factory cable so that’s not an option. If anyone could help point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative. In Device Manager, the Kindle only appears under "Universal Serial Bus devices" as "Amazon Kindle Fire".
Thanks
