[TF101] Unable to get into TWRP recovery after upgrading TWRP
I rooted using:
OneclickrecoveryV0.4.2
Didn’t backup my original stock OS, and couldn’t book into an OS.
It was stuck in a loop, used OneclickrecoveryV0.4.2 to fix the loop.
Then it still did not boot into an OS. I put cm-10-20130929-NIGHTLY-tf101.
Worked fine. Wanted to try Katkiss 6.0. Did not seem to work with TWRP 2.5.
Download signed_twrp-2.8.1.1_tf101.zip. Installed it after booting into TWRP 2.5.
It looked successful and rebooted into OS fine. However, after I rebooted it, it is stuck now.
I can’t boot into TWRP. It gets stuck at "booting recovery kernel image".
Help…please! I am not tech savvy at all… it took me hours researching to even get to this point…
Did I brick it?
My girlfriend will be throwing pots and pans at me if I can’t fix this
Thanks in advance…
Stuck on TWRP, cannot boot into OS
I installed new CM13 by using TWRPv2.8.6.0, and it said "Successful". But when I reboot, it automatically goes to TWRP screen and cannot boot OS.
I did try to install different cm, rom, but its not working at all. Still keep going to TWRP screen.
Please help me out!
[TWRP & MORE] GanFan’s treasure box

Introduction
Hey, guys, there is another topic based similar to this, but it’s not as resourceful as the works of GanFan. So that’s why I share it. Dunno why but I prefer the work of GanFan over cofface’s.
How to get the files?
It’s in his Baidu cloud, to download bigger files, you may need a Baidu account. Link: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mhtwOyO
What’s in it?
I didn’t test it all, but there are some very promising files and also scripts that one-click sideload SuperSU for you.
Disclaimer
As always, think before you do! Before executing a script (shell or bash) be sure to read it and understand what the script does! As always, you are going to mess with your phone, so it’s certainly in your favor if you read up on what you are about to do before doing it!.

Can’t Boot Into LP After Flashing Firmware With TWRP & Fastboot
I have a Moto G 4G (Peregrine, XT1039) and I’m trying to install some stripped down stock ROMS, which I will be then encrypting under Android. One ROM I particularary liked was lost101’s optimised version, but no matter what encrypting thr device just never worked. I have tried flashing unpackaged stock ROMS via mfastboot and have also tried flashing zips in TWRP. However, presently every time I reboot/boot the device it just goes straight into TWRP.

TWRP 3.0 now says “system software not authorized by ATT…”

Any advice?
Unable to create backup folder from TWRP, can’t take OTA, or anything
First some info:
I have a non-rooted XPE 1575 with an unlocked bootloader. I have never been able to receive an OTA update and needed to install 6.0 using a clean install of a stock ROM. I now can not successfully install the security OTA update (i get a dead Andy ‘Error’). I have flashed stock recovery, boot image, and system chunks. No luck.
More alarming to me (and possibly a hint at what is going on) is that i can not even back up my phone using TWRP (v2.8.7.0). My internal memory is too small for this, so when i try backing up to my 128 GB sdcard (formatted to be adaptable), i get the following error E: Unable to create folder: /external_sd/TWRP/BACKUPS (errorno=5) E: Failed to make backup folder.
So, i can’t stay ‘stock-like’ and just use OTA updates, and i can’t backup my phone and then try to install a clean updated ROM.
Any ideas from anyone?

Here are the steps-

How to Unlock Bootloader, Flash TWRP, and ROOT LG G4 H811 T-Mobile.
NOTE THIS WILL FACTORY RESET YOUR DEVICE SO BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA
1. Activate developer settings by entering the about section and tapping build number 7 times.
2. Enter your developer settings and MAKE sure you have ‘Allow OEM unlock’ and ‘USB Debugging’ enabled.
3. Download the latest SuperSU zip and move it onto your SD card.
4. Using the android issue SDK. Open a command window and link it to your SDK folder where ADB is located (typically Platform-Tools)
5. Once the Command window is linked to the folder, connect your device via USB and allow the connection.
6. On the command window type ‘adb reboot bootloader’ and the device should reboot with the fastboot options on the upper left of the phone screen
7. Once again on the command window type ‘fastboot oem unlock’ and the command window should say OKAY and complete the action.
8. To Confirm that the device is unlocked type ‘fastboot getvar unlock’ and the window should respond with ‘Unlock: YES’
9. Now download the latest available TWRP and drop it into the platform-tools folder where your ADB.exe is located.
10. On your Command Window type ‘fastboot flash recovery "NAME OF TWRP FILE" if you get the error ‘ cannot load ‘twrp-X.X.X.X-h811′ you need to add .img to the end of the filename
11. Once the process completes you will see ‘target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending ‘recovery’ (32968 KB)…
OKAY [ 1.088s]
writing ‘recovery’…
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time:’
THE FAILED UNKNOWN COMMAND NOTICE CAN BE IGNORED
12. Once the process completes the device may not let you enter recovery from the traditional method using the buttons on the back of the phone so the easiest method is to, on your command window, type
‘fastboot boot twrp-2.8.7.0-h811.img’ and the device should respond within just a few seconds and reboot into TWRP.
13. Once the device reboots, enter twrp and tap on install and locate the SuperSU.zip and allow it to install.
14. Once the process completes successfully, wipe cache to be safe and reboot your device.
15. Resetup your device and restore your data if necessary and install a root checker from Google Play to confirm root!
THATS IT GUYS! This took me a long time to figure this out and it’s a combination of different methods to get it to work!
All credit goes to the Devs of TWRP and SuperSU!
I posted in General because I’m a new user so please move to appropriate forums! thanks!

S4 I9505 – Ressurection Remix – Can’t Access TWRP 3.0.0
The last time I used the recovery was on 22/03 to make a backup of my ROM (I’ve entered the recovery more than a dozen times before this backup with no issues).
Today I wanted to switch from Ressurrection Remix to crDroid (Ressurrection for some reason becomes laggy after use and only a reboot resolves this issue).
I downloaded all of the zips I required (ROM, GAPPS, SU etc.)
I selected to reboot to recovery using the advanced reboot option.
The phone rebooted and displayed recovery booting in blue as per the norm.
The TWRP splash screen showed for around 10 sec or so then the phone rebooted (this never happened before).
Thinking that this was a bug with the recovery, I tried turned off the phone via the power menu once my I got into MM and then removed the battery and used the power + up button combo to enter recovery however still no go.
Next I tried flashing the TWRP 3.0.0.tar file via odin, still no luck.
The question I have is how do I resolve the issue?
Where to find TWRP 3.0.0-0 for i9000?
One of them is on stock everything 2.3.6 and is lovely and shiny new looking.
The other has dead pixels, is tattered all to hell, but is running the latest A-Rom 6.0.1 build awesomely (I suggest you try it) and has TWRP 3.0.0-0 recovery. It was a recovery flash from a lacklustre 5.1 OMNI (I think) based rom, but no idea when!
I cannot for the life of me remember where I got that recovery file from.. I’ve googled the heck out of it and got nowhere! I’d really love to get the shiny one running Marshmallow, but it’s been years since I last poked around with all the files etc and frankly – i’m a bit lost.
a) Could anyone point me to that recovery file? I just can’t find it
b) I’ve tried using adb to back it up but get permission denied and can’t find the option in superSU or the developers section to allow adb access. Where is it??
c) Is there an app I can install which will do it for me? which is supported by this phone?
Help! What’s the best thing to do at this point? I’d really like that OS and recovery on both.. though now I’m starting to contemplate taking them both to bits and swapping the internals around which I don’t really want to do..
