Hmmm…..My TWRP gone missing…… :(
I Cant Get To TWRP Recovery HELP !!!
Galaxy A5(sm-a500f) Bricked After TWRP Install .And keep rebooting into recovery
At boot logo shows Recovery is not standard enforcing. So i did go to download mode but PC did"t ditect the PHone.Says USB NOT Recongnized.
So i download CM 12 to install but eror. How do i fix my A5 please anyone.??
*I have driver installed on pc.
*Download mode loads fine .But usb didn’t ditect my Phone.
* I’ve changed the Charging Port before.
i8190 S3 mini / soft-bricked / twrp is being a persistent %@$%$!
A.) Initially, the phone wasn’t rooting with the norms so i had to install a prerooted rom. Anyway, since it was the an almost look-alike of stock, i wanted to move to CM 12. So, for that i had to install twrp, now even after being rooted, the odin wasn’t able to flash the recovery. So, i chose the twrp app and there i messed up, i thought it would be the latest version which it wasn’t it was a 2.6….version which doesn’t support the f2fs so i knew i have to get a newer version of the twrp, since then i have been trying to fix this but i can’t, so much so i tried stock pit files all over the internet and i get error on all of them "Complete(Write) operation failed."
Every recovery / rom which can be flashed using odin, flashes "successfully".
1.) rom loads up but it stays in soft-brick. (doesn’t progresses from the boot anim)
2.) recovery shows to have successfully flashed, but on the boot; no matter which recovery i put in, it always goes to the same version of twrp that was initially installed by the app.
I forgot to mention, it asked if the right place to flash is an area of the internal memory…mmc…something…and i was furious and i selected it; i guess thats where it all messed up.
i tried pit files, roms, recoveries, stock, custom, adb push, adb sideload, various versions of odin and all.
B.) the real reason for changing to a custom rom was; the phone was able to connect to pc in download mode/recovery without a difficulty; however within rom, it was only on charging mode. So i guess there is something wrong from earlier on.
now i’m sure there’s no memory bricked since writing happens easily. I probably have written the recovery somewhere like within the cache partition that it never gets deleted and no matter what i flash, it always open up twrp of the same version.
Pit isn’t flashing. Can i repartition / format the entire memory someway? *nand flash etc didn’t work within odin too. same error as that of pit files.
Please guide, i don’t want to lose this phone, i just bought a new battery.
Any help / guide would be great. Also, nearly i have tried all there is on the forum. What are some other ways to format partitions / repartition? (not as important since logs would only tell unable to write but where should i start seeing the logs? )
need stock twrp 4,4 for desire 816 DUG dual sim please.
TWRP not Work
Factory Reset on Fully encrypted rooted phone with TWRP by chr0247 v2.8.6.0
I have following problem:
My phone’s micro-usb port is broken. It is only able to charge the phone, but does not recognize USB data connections anymore.
I have activated full device encryption.
Factory resetting fails with unable to mount data messages (due to encryption?)
Factory reset from within the system fails too because it seems to need stock recovery?
Flashing of stock recovery through TWRP fails too with unable to mount data messages.
Any ideas how i can do a successful factory reset and/or flash stock recovery?
Thanks,
Clemens
Sorry for the wrong section…did read the sticky too late.
[Guide] Problem with a black screen in twrp after installed stock MM
1.Wait for 5 to 10 minutes until the phone goes into twrp
2.You can check the "back"button if it vibrates, then you are on the right track
3.To find adb sideload ,I personally enjoyed another device to see where it is
4.Further connected to the computer and write
Adb kill-server
Adb usb
Adb devices(if written sideload means you entered)
And the team flash a Rom (better than the usual stock(not twrp))adb sideload rom name.zip rom name=the name of your .zip)(if you finish early,it’s nothing)
5.Further prescription adb reboot
6.Your phone reboots and then you’ll be able to go to fastboot by holding the+button to zoom.volume
7.Then fastboot flash a greenshank sorg
And oops, there bootanimation and logo asus
Go into Rom and enjoy,if you want then reboot
8.in fastboot And flash twrp:
Adb kill-server
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9.Next, choose Twrp in fastboot. And rejoice
Tested in Z008 and Z00A
P. s This is how I coped with such a problem
PS.s In twrp ,the device may be blocked,if it was there, you just have to swapnote from left to right to unlock the device
PS.s.IMPORTANT: after upgrading, even with a clean 184, then make a full reset in the settings, after a couple of minutes you may find that your phone becomes unresponsive, but it isn’t! After a couple of minutes it reboot in recovery and do factory reset! After that, missing a sufficient number of bugs ranging from drop google services, and what’s not sincenot contacts, not the arrival notification and so on.

Install TWRP on rooted but LB on stock ROM(15.5.A.1.5),JB 4.3, Xperia M Dual (C2004)
OS: Jelly Bean 4.3 (15.5.A.1.5)
Rooted, bootloader unlocking allowed but locked yet,I have the code.
So I want to install custom ROMs which need. Now to flash them I need TWRP.
To get TWRP I need to unlock my bootloader, right?
The thing is I don’t have the bandwidth to download the stock ROM to flash after unlocking the bootloader as it is around 700 megabytes.
So what I want to ask is whether is it possible for me to unlock bootloader and flash recovery directly and then flash the custom ROM?
Also considering my bandwidth limitations, how should I unlock my bootloader?
how can I build a kernel using the stock kernel + twrp recovery?
I got a rooted+unlocked Z2 D6503 with Android MM build .575…
at the moment i am using pec0ra`s custom abricot kernel v8.1 which is quite exciting but i only use it for the recovery and the fast_hotplug is a wonderful feature…
can i add the same recovery to the .575 stock kernel and flash it as a flashable zip? i really need a recovery and at the moment the [NUT]DualRecovery doesn`t support android mm pls tell me how I can create a flashable kernel using the stoock one + twrp 3.0.X
