I followed the installation given –> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show….php?t=2588979

Upon updating Driver via Device Manager, I don’t get the ADB interface but get ONE Plus Interface and it installs MTP drivers and not the "Android ADB Interface", please help!!!:crying: I tried all possible ways but with no luck, any help will be highly appreciated!

Install OTA with TWRP recovery for XT1572 24.211.58.clark_reteu.reteu.en.EU reteu

Hey,

I’m getting an OTA Update for my XT1572 with 6.0.1 and 24.211.58.clark_reteu.reteu.en.EU reteu.

Trying to install the OTA my phone boots into TWRP and won’t install the OTA. I can boot into Android after trying to install the OTA but i get stuck in kind of a bootloop as my phone trys booting into recovery for some time.

Is this because I have TWRP instead of stock recovery?

I installed 6.0.1 using the ressources in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto…posed-t3276792

But the zip does not contain the stock recovery.

What do I have to do to install OTAs properly?

Thanks!

Hi,
I have the US version of the Le 1 Pro and managed to install TWRP with the method in the twrp/rootguide but after I’ve installed supersu and gapps in TWRP then rebooting it keeps going back into TWRP? I do I boot up the ROM? Thanks.

The pain in the butt, or: How to deal with problems persisting through TWRP wipe?

$

What would really help me is a list of actions I can take to wipe "more than TWRP allows".
Take my device closer to the state it left the factory in.
Format everything I can and start anew.
Get in there deep.
It doesn’t have to be a step-by-step guide (not saying I wouldn’t appreciate it), but I would like a general idea of my options (and bricking risks).

After switching from android 5 ROMs to Marshmallow ROMs on my Lenovo K3 Note everything was fine. Until one day, suddenly, a weird problem appeared. You really don’t need to read this, but here it is if you’re bored http://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-n…quick-t3399845 . TL;DR: quick setting/notification pull down menu stopped working on home screen on ANY 6.0 ROM

Posted this problem on several forums and got no useful feedback. So it’s time for a nuclear option.

My reasoning is:

  • 6.0 ROMS used to work perfect
  • 6.0 ROMS get problems
  • After formatting data problem still exists with other 6.0 ROMS
  • Therefore the problem must lie in data not formatted under TWRP.

Any other explanation?

HELP : Error executing updater binary in zip : TWRP (SM-A500G)

Well, let me tell you, I DID see the other threads before posting this one about the topic, but believe me, none of the topics met my condition, and none solved my problem. :crying:

I have a Galaxy A5 (SM-A500G), and tried to flash CM12.1 unofficial TEMASEK version by @mygalaxya . I followed EVERY single step correctly, but when I tried to flash the ROM using TWRP, it said "Error executing updater binary in script."

I tried to rename ‘a5lte’ to ‘a5ltedd’ in updater-script in zip/META-INF/com/google/android
But, it didn’t work.

Also, my stock firmware had stopped working a few days ago. The phone automatically switched off after running out of charge although I kept the charger connected throughout the night (if you understand what I’m saying :p ) And then, when I switched on the phone, it booted into TWRP. I chose Reboot and then System, but it just won’t boot normally… It kept on rebooting into recovery mode..!! So, I finally gave up, and tried to flash CM12.1 into the phone. And, the above error came up.

What do I do? HELP…

Here I Am Back With Any TWRP Update 3.0.2-0 For Lettuce aka Yuphoria
Introduction
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.

Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.

A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM

You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/

What’s New In Update

Quote:

  • Fix a bug with the input box that affected masked inputs (passwords). This fixes decrypt of full device encryption on devices that support decrypt. This bug also impacts encrypted backups. Users are highly encouraged to stop using 3.0.1 if you use encrypted backups or if you need decrypt of data in TWRP.
  • Add Greek translation to some builds.

Good morning.

I installed the latest TWRP and then the Fulmics MM rom. Sadly, I now can’t update, because TWRP won’t boot, it gets stuck on that logo. I need to update this rom, a few apps are excruciatingly laggy ( eg Waze and Shazam )

What can I do to fix this? Thanks for any help

How do I build CWM or TWRP?

I have a custom android ROM which I have built from source. I now want to build either CWM or TWRP. However, I am having a few problems:

1.) Where do I find the TWRP and CWM source? All I could find is CyanogenMod/android_bootable_recovery on Github for CWM and omnirom/android_bootable_recovery on Github for TWRP, but these do not look like the official repositories.
2.) From what I can make out, the recovery partition must be built along with the custom ROM, rather than as a standalone thing. How do I set up the android source to build a different recovery source when "make recoveryimage" is run?

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or Twrp for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
